Coordinated by Margalida Ramis, we focus on the intersection between performing arts, culture and territory as tools for analysis and intervention. Connecting thought and artistic practice, new forms of reflection and dialogue to address social and cultural challenges are seek, fostering local and international collaboration.

This event will take place over two days. We will meet one day beforehand to work on the concepts and discuss the issues together. The second day will be open to the public, inviting cultural agents and the general audience to participate and share.

Moderated by Margalida Ramis, with participation DANZAD, DANZAD MALDITOS (Navarra), Ornella d’Agostino from CAROVANA SMI (Sardinia), and Lassina Koné from FILA NI KÉLÉ – BAMAKO (Mali).

The Don Sen Folo association has been working since 2010, historically in the Kalaban Coro neighborhood in Bamako and today in the rural municipality of Bancoumana, on the issue of access to culture with the motto that we can only purchase what we know. They are convinced that Art and Culture can become the economic engines of tomorrow's society. Therefore, they work to make their work as artists known and understood in our communities. ORNELLA D’AGOSTINO (Sardinia)
Dancer and director, she trained in dance, theater, and music, initially in Sardinia and later in France (Paris) and the Netherlands. She studied, among others, with Carolyn Carlson, Jean Gaudin, Peter Goss, Steve Paxton, Julien Hamilton, Nancy Stark Smith, Simone Forti, David Zambrano, Mark Tompkins... In 1989, she graduated from the School of New Dance Trends in Amsterdam, where she embarked on a path of interdisciplinary production and research, collaborating with film directors, visual artists, actors and musicians. Director and co-founder since 1994 of the Carovana S.M.I. association in Cagliari, with which she has carried out various international cooperation projects selected by the European Commission on intercultural dialogue (2001-2012), the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Entertainment, the autonomous region, the provinces and local entities of Sardinia. Carovana SMI produces "pilgrimages" of contemporary performing arts that take place not only in Italy but also attract people from diverse geographical, generational and artistic backgrounds. https://www.carovana.org/
